At the edge of the digital age, UX designers have finally reached C-level. Why? Because they are the ones who connect the product with the user and design seamless experiences. Yes. But aren’t they also the ones who are developing patterns that make users literally addicted to a product? The ones who open the front door for users to suck them into the ecosystem? The ones who design trojan horses to disguise the true business model behind the interface – getting as much data as possible out of the relationship? After many idealistic years in the design business – and in the light of where the industry is heading – Julia is worried about where the industry is heading and wants to share her thoughts.

About me

Julia, a trained visual designer, has been working as strategic consultant and managing director for international brand and UX design agencies, exploring design as universal tool connecting brand, product and user through experience. After 20 years in business, Julia recently quit her job, to work with like-minded people on relevant questions of our time, as free thinker, brand consultant and writer
